There are many ways to get involved, including:

  • Participate in our World Plumbing Day T-Shirt Program - purchase specialty WPD T-Shirts for your employees to wear to help spread awareness and show pride as a member of the industry: available annually  
  • Hosting a special event for your customers or community
  • Educating students about the important role plumbing plays in our daily lives at a local school
  • Fundraising or donating to a relevant charity

According to the World Health Organization

  • 829,000 people are estimated to die each year as a result of unsafe drinking-water
  • By 2025, half of the world’s population will be living in water-stressed areas
  • 785 million people lack even a basic drinking-water service, including 144 million people who are dependent on surface water

Making the Essential a Reality

  • Canadian plumbing and heating manufacturers and distributor provide the products and technologies that deliver clean, safe drinking water as well as comfortable and efficient home heating. Modern plumbing and heating products allow Canadians to have fresh, safe running water and warm homes.
  • CIPH members are at the forefront of developing and continually improving products and technologies to help to safeguard people’s health and safety at home and in public spaces; from products like hands-free faucets and toilets that can reduce exposure to germs and viruses to hydronic (hot water) heating systems that heat homes and businesses comfortably and efficiently.
  • We are passionate about sustainability. CIPH members invest heavily in research and development in order to produce water and energy saving products and systems.

We might be behind the scenes, but CIPH member companies and their more than 25,000 employees from coast to coast are making Canadian lives better every day.
