Call for Volunteers: Join a CIPH Committee or Council

As a valued member of CIPH, we are currently seeking dedicated individuals who are passionate about our mission and willing to contribute their time and expertise to serve on our volunteer committees and councils. These groups play a crucial role in driving our initiatives forward and ensuring the success of our organization.

If you have a strong interest in a specific area or would like to broaden your horizons by exploring new avenues, we encourage you to consider joining one of our committees or councils. By becoming a volunteer, you will have the chance to collaborate with like-minded individuals, share your ideas, and make a meaningful impact on our association.

Canadian Hydronics Council (CHC)

To promote and grow the Canadian hydronics industry through codes and policy development, training, and membership support while being recognized nationally as the hydronic center of excellence and the best solution provided for Canada to realize emission reduction targets. More About CHC >>

Career Awareness Committee (CAC)

The purpose and actions of this Committee is to facilitate the increased prosperity of members by raising awareness of careers within our industry and to ensure that a diverse workforce will sustain future industry health and growth.

 

Charity Committee in Support for Habitat for Humanity Canada

The purpose of the Charity Committee is to lead CIPH’s partnership with Habitat for Humanity Canada (HFHC) by organizing a biennial fundraising program encouraging CIPH members across Canada to support the partnership.

 

CIPHEX WEST 2025 Committee

To provide a high-quality sales, marketing and educational event in Western Canada for the stakeholders involved in plumbing, hydronic heating, HVACR and water treatment.

 

Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion DEI Committee

CIPH is committed to being a leader and influencing positive change in diversity, equity, and inclusion, across our association and throughout the plumbing and heating industry in Canada. The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee is composed of industry leaders, who are champions within their companies, and the industry-at-large in helping CIPH to remain true to this goal.

Education & Training Council (ETC)

The Education and Training Committee is dedicated to promoting and fostering education and training to our members within the plumbing and heating industry. Our goal is to provide valuable resources and support, enabling them to access high-quality educational programs that enhance their skills and knowledge.

Industrial Pipe, Valve & Fittings Council (IPVF)

The Industrial Pipe Valves & Fittings Council (IPVF) address issues specifically related to IPVF through networking, promoting awareness, delivering industry-specific education and training and advocating on behalf of CIPH members within this industry sector.  The Council’s mission is to promote the responsible growth and prosperity of the Manufacturers, their Sales Agents, the Wholesaler Distributors, and their customers in the IPVF industry.

 

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee is responsible for managing and overseeing the membership process and activities. Their primary role is to attract, recruit, and retain members for the association. This includes developing strategies to increase membership, reviewing membership applications, and ensuring all membership bylaws are current and serving the needs of the industry.

Women's Network (CWN)

The Women’s Network supports the professional development of women within Canada’s plumbing and heating industry. Our focus is on Skills Development, Education & Training, and Professional & Personal Goal Achievement. Women’s Network proudly offers networking events and informal mentoring opportunities to our members.

Young Executive Committee (YES)

The Committee represents the interest of young professionals (40 years of age or younger) within Canada’s plumbing, industrial PVF, waterworks and hydronic heating industry. YES is an opportunity for CIPH members to invest in their employees’ development by providing meaningful learning and networking opportunities through online training and in person events tailored to the next generation of industry executives.
