Charity Committee in Support for Habitat for Humanity Canada

The CIPH Charity Committee will lead CIPH's support of Habitat for Humanity Canada, particularly in terms of different fundraising campaigns.

Purpose

To organize a biennial fundraising program, as selected by the Board of Directors. Currently, the selected charity is Habitat for Humanity Canada.
To solicit product and cash donations from CIPH members, to assist Habitat for Humanity Canada in building homes in Canada.
To assist in organizing and promoting a gala event to finalize and celebrate the fundraising efforts of CIPH members.
To identify opportunities to publicize CIPH members support of the selected Charity, thereby providing positive publicity for CIPH members and the Canadian Plumbing and Heating Industry.
To encourage CIPH members across Canada to support the selected Charity.
To liaise with the CIPH Region Home Build Committee with respect to the construction of a CIPH home
