Canadian Water Quality Association
CWQA supports and grows the health, sustainability and credibility of the water quality industry in Canada. CIPH staff provides management services to CWQA. CWQA interfaces with WQA (Water Quality Association) in the U.S.
Canadian Waste Water Association
CWWA is a non-profit national body representing the common interests of Canada’s public sector municipal water and wastewater services and their private sector suppliers and partners. CIPH works with CWWA through the Canadian Advisory Council to support initiatives related to water management infrastructure.
EFC is a sister association in the electrical industry. CIPH and EFC share training programs and collaborate on other issues of common concern. EFC and CIPH are co-supporters of the Biennial MEET trade show in Moncton, NB and MCEE trade show in Montreal.
Heating Refrigeration Air Conditioning Institute
HRAI represents HVACR manufacturers, wholesalers and contractors in Canada. CIPH and HRAI partner to produce the biennial CMPX trade show in Toronto and work cooperatively to exchange information on pertinent issues via publications, reports, association conferences and industry meetings.
Illuminating Engineers Society
IES is the recognized technical authority on illumination. IES and CIPH are co-supporters of the Biennial MEET trade show in Moncton, NB.
Mechanical Contractors Association of Canada
MCAC represents the plumbing, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, controls and other contractors in the industrial, commercial, institutional and service sectors. CIPH and MCAC partner to develop best practice guidelines to assist mechanical contractors and wholesale distributors when dealing with supply chain management issues such as procurement, and jointly host the annual MCAC-CIPH Parliamentary Day of Awareness.
National Association of Wholesalers
NAW represents the interests of Wholesaler Distributors in the U.S. CIPH is an associate member and promotes NAW publications and seminars to CIPH members at reduced rate.

PHCC is a U.S.-based association that supports and promotes the activity of over 3,500 contractors in the industrial, commercial, new construction and service and repair industry. CIPH maintains close working relations with PHCC on common concerns related to the North American Plumbing & Heating Industry.
Plumbing Manufacturers International
PMI is the voluntary international industry association of the manufacturers of plumbing products. CIPH works with PMI on a North America basis regarding harmonization of plumbing codes and standards and trade show consolidation.
Radiant Professionals Alliance
RPA represents manufacturers, distributors, designers, dealers, and installers of radiant panel heating and cooling systems and components. The Canadian Hydronics Council and RPA collaborate to share best practices related to proper installations, marketing issues and other industry concerns affecting the Canadian hydronics industry.
The Thermal Environmental Comfort Association
TECA is British Columbia’s industry association committed to the training and professionalism of heating contractors in the residential heating, cooling and ventilation industry. CIPH works with TECA to deliver hydronics certification training.
WPC is an association of contractor/wholesaler/manufacturer associations in 30+ countries of the world dedicated to quality plumbing installations. CIPH supports the objectives of the WPC: to develop and promote the image and professional standards of plumbing to the world, to encourage, participate in and facilitate the exchange of information, research and technology applicable to the world plumbing industry, to promote plumbing education and training worldwide and to promote the Plumbing Industry’s role in improving public health through the provision and protection of safe water and sanitation.
